The Fimi X8 SE 2020 has just arrived from china, and I have now completed the first video.
There will be a series of videos, depicting all the flight modes, and capabilities of this drone.
My first impressions are it appears quit well made, and the rear legs have been made with a stronger plastic then the front legs.
At the moment, the camera has the Panoramic grayed out, and in the video mode the h.264 encoder is also grayed out.
I assume these will be enabled in future firmware updates.

The Covid-19 lock-down is starting to ease in Australia, so I managed to get out, and get a sort flight in."I called it Exercise" I walked some distance to arrive at the park around 30 minutes after Sunrise, and enjoyed the 4 degree morning. As you can see frost is still on the ground.
Here's My Fimi X8 SE 2020 first flight footage settings.
▶ Approx half an hour after Sunrise, 4 degrees Celsius. (Frost is on the ground)
▶ Footage is 3840 x 2106 at 25fps, low bitrate 55731
▶ No Colour Correction, all setting to Auto.
▶ No editing out jello to make the quad appear better than it actually is.
Flight Footage showing the Jello is nearly gone completely, and the horizon is not drifting like in the first video.

This is my second flight video, with the Fimi X8 SE 2020 Edition, and I'm a lot happier now. The Jello is almost gone completely, and the horizon is holding true. Here's My Fimi X8 SE 2020 second flight footage settings.
▶ Wind-speed 5 to 6 kph at ground level, 18 degrees Celsius.
▶ Footage is 3840 x 2106 at 25fps, Medium bitrate 8241 (4K footage)
▶ No Colour Correction, all settings on Auto.
▶ Gimbal Gain set to 30 percent. ▶ Balanced the hubs of two propellers
▶ Flight mode Off on Phone
P.S. I have deliberately flown aggressively in the video above ,to find the weaknesses of this quad.

Fimi have finally released their Panorama controller update for Android phones.
